BOO-tiful Halloween Deviled Eggs

Halloween funny idea for party food. Halloween creative set stuffed eggs pumpkin. deviled eggs

Halloween is just around the corner, and if you’re hosting a spooky bash or looking for a festive appetizer, these Halloween deviled eggs are just the treat.

Deviled eggs are a classic party snack, but with some creative garnishes, you can give them a hauntingly delicious makeover. I’ve whipped up a flavorful filling straight from the Midwest.

Making deviled eggs is easy-peasy. Simply hard-boil some eggs, cut them in half, and scoop out the yolks. Mash up the yolks with mayonnaise, pickles, and seasoning, then pipe the mixture back into the egg whites. That’s it!

Halloween Pumpkin Deviled Eggs

Turn a classic party snack into a fall treat.

  • Total Time: 30-35 minutes

Ingredients

Scale

6 hard-boiled eggs

1/4 cup mayonnaise (or Miracle Whip if you want a taste of the Midwest)

1/4 cup chopped dill pickles

1 teaspoon garlic

Salt and pepper to taste

Cayenne Pepper

Parsley or green onion (for pumpkin eggs)

Black olives (for spider eggs)

Instructions

Peel your hard-boiled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a separate bowl.

Mix the egg yolks with the mayonnaise, pickles, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

To make them look like pumpkins: use a toothpick to draw lines from the center of the egg to the edges, mimicking the lines on a pumpkin. Place a small piece of a chive or green onion on top to act as the pumpkin’s stem. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper for a zing (or paprika).

For the spider eggs: Cut a black olive in half. Place one half in the center of the egg for the spider’s body. Then slice the other half into thin slices for the spider’s legs. Place 4 olive slices on each side of the body to create 8 legs. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper for extra spookiness (or paprika).
