Cheeseburger Sliders

Delicious Cheeseburger Sliders

These little cheeseburger sliders are slider perfection! Soft toasted buns, melty cheese, juicy beef patties, and tangy toppings like onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 mix for best flavor)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 12 small slices of cheddar cheese
  • 12 dill pickle slices
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Optional: lettuce, tomato slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Prepare the Burger Patties:
    1. In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
    2. Mix well and form into 12 small, thin patties, slightly larger than your buns because they will shrink while cooking.
  3. Cook the Patties:
    1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until nicely browned and cooked through.
    2. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.
  4. Prepare the Sauce:
    1. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard.
  5. Assemble the Sliders:
    1. Slice the slider buns in half. Spread a thin layer of the sauce on both the top and bottom halves of the buns.
    2. On the bottom halves, place a cheese-topped patty followed by a slice of pickle and a few slices of red onion. Add lettuce and tomato if using.
    3. Place the top halves of the buns over the fillings.
  6. Finish with a Brush of Butter:
    1. Brush the top of the buns with melted butter. This will give them a nice golden color and rich flavor when baked.
  7. Bake the Sliders:
    1. Arrange the sliders closely on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-10 minutes, or until the buns are toasted and everything is heated through.
  8. Serve:
    1. Serve the sliders warm, perfect for sharing at parties or as a fun family meal.
