Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750 ml) of grape juice (preferably red grape juice)
- 1 cup pomegranate juice or cranberry juice
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 1 apple, cored and chopped
- 1 peach, pitted and sliced (optional)
- 1/2 cup fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cups sparkling water or lemon-lime soda (for a sweeter touch)
- Ice (for serving)
- Mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a large pitcher or a punch bowl, combine the orange, lemon, lime, apple, and peach slices.
- Add the fresh berries to the mixture.
- Pour the grape juice, pomegranate juice, orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, and apple juice over the fruit. Stir the mixture gently to combine all the juices.
- Drop the cinnamon stick into the pitcher. Stir gently to combine all the flavors.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.
- Just before serving, add the sparkling water or lemon-lime soda to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
- Fill glasses with ice and pour the sangria over the ice, ensuring each glass gets a good mix of fruit. If desired, garnish with additional fruit slices or a sprig of mint for a refreshing touch.
Notes
Customize your Sangria: Feel free to experiment with different fruits like pineapple, mango, or pomegranate seeds.
For a Different Flavor Profile: Substitute the grape juice with a blend of apple and white grape juice for a lighter, more citrusy version.
