Lemon and Herb Infused Water

I love this when I’m not feeling well, especially when I have a sore throat, but I also love it as a refreshing summer drink.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 5 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 3 sprigs fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon chopped rosemary

Instructions

  1. Add the water, lemon slices, thyme, mint, and rosemary to a large pitcher.
  2. Let infuse in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  3. Enjoy over ice. Can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

The fresh lemon adds vitamin C and a bright flavor, while the herbs provide antioxidants and a lovely aroma. Feel free to play around with different citrus fruits and fresh herb combinations. Cucumber-lime or orange-rosemary would also be delicious!

Infused waters like this one make staying hydrated seem more like a treat than a chore. The burst of flavor will have you looking forward to drinking after a thirst-quenching drink. Stay refreshed and healthy with this simple recipe. Enjoy!
