As the weather gets cooler and apples come into season, this pan-seared pork chop recipe with apple cider glaze is the perfect fall dinner. With a sweet and tangy glaze paired with savory, juicy pork chops, it brings the best of autumn flavors to your table.
These pan-seared bone-in or boneless pork chops are first cooked until golden brown and caramelized on the outside, sealing in all the juices and creating an incredibly flavorful crust. While the chops are resting, you’ll whip up an easy apple cider glaze.
Simply simmer apple cider, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and rosemary until thickened and syrupy. The mustard adds a tangy spike of flavor while the rosemary provides an aromatic touch. As the pork chops rest, the apple cider glaze helps keep them warm while also soaking into the meat, infusing it with flavor.
Finally, the chops are served drizzled with glaze, combining sweet, savory, and herbaceous flavors in each delicious bite. The sugar in the glaze caramelizes the pork chop crust, taking it to the next level of tastiness.
This satisfying yet elegant pan-seared pork chop recipe is perfect for fall dinners. With cozy, comforting flavors and seasonal ingredients, it’s a new twist on a classic you’ll make over and over again. Drizzled in apple cider glaze, these pork chops are truly a sweet and savory fall favorite.

This is an excellent way to serve pork as the seasons begin to move on towards autumn. Our orchard provides us with many apples, much juice and cider and this meal is lovely!
What types of apples do you grow? We want to add some more trees to our orchard next spring!
